I’ve been a huge Rebel Girls fan since their very first book came out, so naturally I’m so excited to hear about their brand new Rebel Girls app.

The app features the stories of some of our favorite women — Malala, Lady Gaga, Maya Angelou, and many more — in easy-to-access audio form. Plus you’ll have access to soothing sounds, activities, and meaningful new categories like “Black Girl Magic” and “LGBTQ+ History.”

While there are loads of podcasts available for kids, I love an app that offers them all in one place since, I have a 4-year-old who’s still learning to navigate an iPad.

We're so happy that the new Rebel Girls app is putting all our kids' favorite women and their stories in one place.

One thing I love is that the stories on the Rebel Girls app don’t just revolve around amazing women, they’re also read by amazing women. For example, Simone Biles’ story is ready by Lindsey Vonn. Olympic power couple!

The Rebel Girl apps has features to allow kids to favorite their most-loved episodes so they can find them again quickly — and I was glad to know that many of the stories are completely free. That way you can see if you love it before spending $3.99 a month to unlock all the content.

For now, the Rebel Girls app is only available for iOS, but we’re hoping they’ll expand to Android soon. And of course, you can still find the original Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls by Elena Favilli and Francesco Cavalla book on our affiliate Amazon, or please support your local independent bookseller.
