Recovery from mental health and substance use disorders is a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.
This set of training materials for psychiatrists is intended to provide a basic understanding of recovery from mental illness and substance use disorders and recovery-oriented care, and to contribute to bringing recovery-oriented practice into the mainstream of professional practice.
