APA’s Leadership in Equity, and Diversity (LEAD) Institute allows psychiatry trainees to refine their leadership skills and enhance their knowledge about diversity, equity and inclusion. The goal of the institute is to create more culturally responsive leaders in patient care, scholarship and research. This modern approach to developing leaders will position LEAD Institute psychiatry trainees to play a critical leadership role in promoting mental health equity.
